People here can marry at 18, so they are definitely mature enough to understand politics and make an informed choice. Also many are still idealistic at that age and in university, where they are being exposed to new ideas that are not influenced by their parents.... But given the right to legally marry (or unintentionally fall in love with) someone from another religion should not be a obstacle! Civil Marriage in Lebanon is a must to abolish this difference between us, while retaining our religious identity. Being Christian/Muslim is an identity especially in Lebanon.
